Geoboard with detachable pins. Geoboards are employed for a broad range of mathematical explorations in K-8 education. In this design, the pins are easily removable. Consequently, if a pin becomes damaged during use, it can be quickly replaced. This feature also allows for repeated uses of the geoboard. For instance, one can print pins in various colors to model triangular numbers (1, 3, 6, 10, ...) or odd numbers (1, 3, 5, 7, ...). Students can undoubtedly discover additional ways to interact with them. If the pins are printed together with the holder, you can remove them by pressing at the bottom. If a pin is difficult to remove, you can use a screwdriver to push from the top. Exercise caution not to injure your fingers! Alternatively, the pins, holder, and tray can be printed separately for future assembly. For optimal resolution, one between 0.1mm to 0.2mm seems suitable. An infill of 5% to 50% can be utilized, depending on desired durability.
