Geoboards are widely used in early math to help students grasp geometric shapes and their algebraic properties such as the Pythagorean Theorem. They can be employed for a variety of topics or simply for fun. The geoboard files available here are designed for K-12 teachers, featuring reinforced pins and hollow spaces underneath to minimize warping and facilitate easy removal. Each pin offers three positions to enable multiple layers of rubber band construction. There are three different dimensions and two styles to choose from. They are no larger than 140mm x 140mm x 32mm. Making a 3x3 board would serve little purpose, but large ones can certainly be created if needed. An isometric (5x5) board is available for special needs, while a circular one allows students to experiment with angles and fractions. Everything is made using Autodesk Fusion 360. To use the geoboards effectively, a bag of thin and colorful rubber bands is necessary. Regarding printing, PLA material works well at 0.20mm layer height, without any support or raft.
