Geoboards are widely used in early math to help students grasp geometric shapes and their algebraic properties, such as the Pythagorean Theorem. They can be utilized for a wide range of topics or simply for enjoyment. The geoboard files here are designed specifically for K-12 teachers, featuring reinforced pins and hollow spaces underneath to minimize warping and facilitate easy removal. Each pin offers three positions, allowing multiple layers of rubber band construction. There are three distinct dimensions and two styles available. They measure no larger than 140mm x 140mm x 32mm in size. I don't see the need for a 3x3 board; however, large ones can be created if necessary. A special needs isometric (5x5) geoboard is available, as well as a circular one for exploring angles and fractions. Everything is designed using Autodesk Fusion 360. To use the geoboards effectively, you will need a bag of thin (and colorful, preferably) rubber bands. Regarding printing, PLA works fine at 0.20mm without any support or raft required.
