Geo-Cube Necklace-Bracelet with Twist-Lock Clasp

<p>Geo-Cubes are interlocking print-in-place cubic shapes that I designed &amp; posted last year. I've been experimenting with scaling them to different sizes &amp; arranging them on the print bed in different ways to get longer lengths of interlocked chains. After removal from the print-bed &amp; detaching the brim, the chain expands about 40% longer than the printed length. I'm sizing them to fit on the Prusa Mini print-bed, but they can be printed on the i3-size bed as well.</p> <p>This entry is a remix of a full-loop necklace I posted a couple weeks ago, but in this version I added a twist-lock clasp to be used as a shorter necklace or bracelet. I've included versions with 13 to 34 links, plus the clasp. The 13, 14, &amp; 15 link versions will fit wrists from 6-9 inch circumference (15-23 cm). The 34 link necklace has an open length of 23 inches (58 cm). The clasps can be used to connect multiple chains, so the total length is unlimited. 3D printed Christmas garlands anyone?</p> <h3>Print instructions</h3><p>The included 3MF files are for printing on a Prusa Mini. These were printed with Prusament PLA print profile, 0.15 layer height, 15% gyroid infill, 5mm brim. The brim is needed because the corner of the cube that is grounded to the bed is fairly small. I've also included the OBJ mesh files (my preference over STL). The 13-15 link length models will need to be turned 45 degrees to fit on the Mini print bed. The 34-link model is laid out in a 180 degree curve to fit the Mini bed without further manipulation.</p> <p>The twist-lock clasp is angled so that supports are not required. Its tolerance has been tuned to fit snug without requiring much force to lock &amp; unlock, but variation in printers &amp; filament could result in a tighter-than-desired lock. If this happens, some light filing or sanding of the small cam-offset on the male-clasp will make it easier to twist.</p>
