Modeling a bracelet in Maya at a Stanford area coffee shop, I followed up my "Geo Necklace 01" project with this more complex design: a two-torentanglement featuring an eight-sided base and six-sided top. Printed with 'natural' PLA on medium settings (210 extrusion temperature, HBP off) in Makerware without supports, the bracelet boasts two shells and 10% infill. Completed in 50 minutes, it consumed 13g of filament for a striking two-tone blue/red finish that required removing some interior loose strands post-printing.
