I removed the snorkel from my Buddy 50 airbox and figured it would smooth the airflow to have a nice velocity stack. This one should do the job. it mounts to the original snorkel screw locations and should be nice and sturdy. I have no yet had any problems with heat at all. Gives the intake a nice low sound that's not annoying and should do a nice job directing the airflow in. I have included the Fusion360 file as always in case you want to modify.
