This model is cut into 20 pieces including spearhead from parts 1 -7, while pummel from parts 8-10. Each part come with two sides, a and b. Their is a file "Skyward Spine rod.stl" included with 180mm length with a tunnel with 10mm diameter punch through. You can print multiple pieces to achieve the total length you want. Once printed out, slot the bone through it to form the rod for the prop. You can refer to the picture in the preview section with their file name label correspond to the pieces. An uncut version also included just in case you want to cut it yourself. All the pieces are cut with easy print in mind. All the pieces come with flat face that can lay on the printing bed easily. Some support is needed on the tunnel with 10mm diameter that punch through the prop as a housing for bone. Once print out the pieces, glue a and b back to back to form a part. Do the same for the other pair and join the parts together. Gentle reminder, please prepare bone of your desired length first as it is easier to sandwich pieces a and b to the bone rather than insert it once everything is glue together. If you cannot find exact 10mm in diameter bone for the prop, you can use anything that is not below 7mm in diameter. I will suggest pump in some hot glue to hold the bone in place if it is too loose for the tunnel. For scaling, please use the same scale factor for all the pieces. If you scale the prop with scale factor of 1.2, the diameter of the tunnel will change too. Please take that into consideration when choosing size for your bone. Cheers and happy printing!
