Genshin Impact - Kuki Shinobu Whip Sword

This model is designed for Kuki Shinobu cosplay from Genshin Impact. It is designed wish 7 separated parts. You can refer to the picture in the preview section for the name of each parts. Part 1 is cut into 4 pieces to fit in my Ender 3 with platform of 200mm x 200mm x 200mm. All the parts is cut into pieces with easy printing in mind. However, uncut version also included just in case you need it. All the pieces come with a flat face that can lay on the printing bed easily. Support is needed for the tunnel that punch thru the middle of the parts for a iron string to past through. There is two ways you can build this prop:- First method: If you want to make it into a whip like the one shown in the official art, before gluing the pieces together, plant a iron string into the 2mm tunnel. Then apply some hot glue or other adhesive to hold the string in place. You can set the distance in between depend on your needs and repeat the same step. If you want it to have more blade pieces, print multiple copies of the same parts and link it. Finally end the link with Part 7.After all done, glue the other half of the parts to complete the prop. To achieve the purple effect like shown in the official art, you can use thin sheet of plastic, cut into the shape and glue on top of the blade pieces. Second method: This method is quite straight forward. You can build it like normal sword. Print all the parts and join it together. Since the total length after combined is about 100cm, therefore you can skip using bone. If you wish to, it can be done by drilling multiple holes on the connecting faces and bridge them with iron or wooden rod. If you just want to make it in a connected form, you can print parts 1, 2 and 7. For scaling, please use the same scale factor for all the pieces. Cheers and Happy Printing!
