Genshin Impact - Collei Hair Accessories

This model is designed for Collei cosplay from Genshin Impact. I designed the hair accessories in two parts A and B, for easier printing and resembling the chain design. Part A is the main body of the whole piece. It come with certain degree of curve. You can further curve it with hair dryer or heat gun. I make the overlapping part touching each other so that it is easier to print in place. Part B will be the part that appear to be on top of part A with one side overlap the part B and the other side go below part A. You can refer to the picture for a better view. The best orientation in term of saving time and PLA will be printing in upward position. You can refer to the picture in the preview section. However, this orientation is quite hard to print. Please make sure you use brim and print it in slow speed for the bottom layer, so that it can hold in place. Printing laying down will need more support. Furthermore the surface that using support is quite huge. Hence removing huge amount of support in post process will be a thing for you to consider. In contrast, this is the easiest orientation to print from. Once print, you can weld two piece together using electric soldering iron pen. Welding can be applied underneath the pieces. Once the frame is setup, you can complete the prop by cover the oval shape using Eva foam from the back of the prop. The fabric below the frame can be craft using thick fabric or Eva foam too. For scaling, please scale using the same factor for both pieces. Cheers and Happy Printing!
