GENOAN GALLEY (XVI sec.):\ A meticulously crafted model of a galley, the most dominant Mediterranean warship for centuries spanning from XI to XVII sec., proudly flies the Genoese flag, a symbol of my hometown. HOW DID I BUILD THIS? I carefully recreated the model from authentic ship plans, ensuring its accuracy to the smallest detail! Every measurement was taken into account and meticulously reproduced in this extraordinary miniature. HOW TO ASSEMBLE IT: Only the hull and its support are 3D printed, as I wanted a model that anyone can easily print without encountering any issues. Regarding the other components: - Oars are 44 common toothpicks, precision-cut and shaped. - Masts are larger toothpicks, perfect for making meat skewers. - Sails, flags, and bow/stern tents are genuine linen tissue; you may also use paper. You will find masts' measurements in one of the attached images.
