Dust shoe adapter for the standard 42mm spindle on the genmitsu 3018-pro cnc to a 52mm spindle. Will likely work for other machines, just double-check clearances. I added a hose retainer clip in case the hose is too heavy for the magnets (my case when I swapped hoses) that can be tightened with 3m screws+nutsAdditional parts required: 1x: m6 x 30mm cap head screw1x: m6 square nut (10mm)2x: m4 x 7.5mm cap head screw2x: m3 x 20 screw2x: m3 hex nut13x: 5x3 small round magnetsAssembly:Make sure the magnet recesses for both the 42mm base plate and the 52mm adapter are clean and cleared of any excess filament.Take 7 magnets and mark one side of each of them so the polarities all face the same direction.This lets you rotate the adapter in case of clearance issues or for the sake of convenience.Take the remaining 6 magnets and mark the opposite polarity as before so when pressed marked-side down into each part, the magnets attach.NOTE: Glue may be used but is not necessary as the magnets are a fairly tight fit.NOTE: Pressing the magnets will likely require a pair of pliers or heavy, flush object - depending on print settings, most (if any) won't be able to be pressed in with just your hands.42mm base plate:Press each magnet (marked-side down) into a 5mm recess (there are 2 slightly smaller 4mm holes for the mounting screws) until it is flush with the base plate surface.Mount the plate magnet-side up to the dust cover top (see image for reference) using the 2 m4 screws.52mm adapter:Press each magnet (marked-side down) into a recess until it is flush with the adapter surface.Slide the m6 screw through the clamping hole (may need to drill it out depending on print settings - if so, do so carefully as the sides can crack) and thread it into the m6 square nut.
