Genius (Liberation)
myminifactory
Jeno Kerenyi, one of the most sought-after sculptors of the 1960s, created a distinctive language for sculpture that blended Socialist Realism's themes with modern forms of the twentieth century. The Genius, originally commissioned as a memorial to the Hungarian Workers' Movement, was later altered after the significant political changes took place between 1989 and 1990.
