In addition to providing a functional prototype, I have included a tutorial on how to create a Geneva Mechanism in Solid Edge. Known as the Maltese cross mechanism, this gear system converts continuous rotation into intermittent rotary motion. The driving wheel, with its pin, engages a slot of the driven wheel to advance it by one step at a time.
