Geneva Drive Mechanism Assembly

Geneva Drive Mechanism Assembly

Summary A Geneva Drive Mechanism makes for a cool assembly to show off to friends and family alongside other pointless 3D parts. The mechanism consists of the drive wheel, Geneva wheel, and double bearing base. Note that the bearing base has quite tight tolerances, requiring some extra torque to get it working properly. However, it does work in the end. You can use a 3D printed M8 screw rod and nuts to mechanically secure the assembly or come up with your own solution. This is the third revision of the mechanism, with previous versions not operating smoothly due to high tolerances in the bearing base. To address this issue, I've minimized the tolerance on this version, hopefully making it work just fine.
