Geneva Drive Kinetic Scuplture

This was my final project for Engineering III which I took in 10th grade. The project required us to model a kinetic sculpture in solidworks using basic modeling techniques, and then manufacture the device using rapid prototyping machines. The model was created using geometry generated from http://benbrandt22.github.io/genevaGen/. The two drive wheels were 3D printed out of PLA plastic and the driven wheels and the top and bottom plates were laser cut from acrylic. The shafts, bearings, shaft collars, and other miscellaneous COTS parts come from Vex EDR.
