Modelled from my Dart XL wing fins, also known as air guides or vortex generators - take your pick. The idea behind this component is multifaceted. Firstly, it aids in reducing lateral airflow along the length of the wing during turns, ensuring that the air flows smoothly over the airfoil for maximum lift generation. Secondly, the vortex-generating effect at the rear tips of the fins helps break up the boundary layer of stale, slow-moving air on the surface of the wing.
