The project was sparked by "Generic Camera Gimbal - Hexacopter / Quadcopter / Tricopter," a design created by JakeKing, which can be found at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:71492. This project draws inspiration from my previous work on the "Generic Camera servo trigger" at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1444570. The gimbal mounts securely on a DJI F450 "Flame Wheel" Quad, utilizing a servo that is connected to the "Camera Holder." Additionally, I incorporated a "Trigger," which serves as a component intended for attachment to the servo horn and alignment with the camera shutter button. All design elements were crafted in FreeCAD, a software tool I extend my gratitude to for its utility (Thank you, FreeCAD!). This project was completed on June 2016. What I discovered during this process is that the camera trigger exhibited movement after approximately two shots. Consequently, I elected to integrate the camera trigger with the camera holder, offering users the option to choose between these configurations. Print Settings were as follows: Printer Brand - Printrbot; Printer Model - Simple Black; Rafting - Yes; Support Structures - No.
