Generic push puppet
thingiverse
This is a versatile humanoid push puppet, designed for use with a metal spring that measures approximately 10.5mm in diameter and 30mm in length, generating about 5 pounds of force when fully compressed. Various notes are available on utilizing this model with alternative springs. The head and arms are attached to flat-bottomed "buttons" which should make it somewhat easier to string and tension the puppet. You can also interchange the head and arm pieces at any time. There is also a space for a customized plaque, allowing you to add your own message. To assemble this puppet, you will need: 1 metal spring (ideally 10.5mm in diameter, 30mm long, 5 pounds of force) 1 spool of polyester sewing thread or fishing line Additionally, print the following parts: 1 base (use "base_24mm.stl" unless experimenting with a stronger spring) 1 pushbutton 2 feet (ensure one is mirrored, unless you prefer your puppet to have two left feet) 2 leg sections 1 torso 2 arms 1 head 3 "button" anchors 1 plaque for decorating the front of the base (optional)
