Generic Gateway Power and Propulsion Element 3D model
cgtrader
The Propulsion Element Module is the inaugural component of NASA's lunar Gateway station, offering primary propulsion, power generation, attitude control, communication capabilities, and structural connections for future modules. After soliciting competitive bids (ultimately selecting Maxar's design based on their SSL-1300 comsat bus), NASA internally developed a reference model to guide initial studies and public relations efforts. This model wasn't intended to represent any specific bid, but rather embodied NASA's expectations regarding performance, size, intermodule connections, EVA support, etc. The model presented here is based on this reference design. Two variations are included, each featuring either MegaROSA or MegaFlex solar arrays. Additionally, two axial passive iLIDS docking ports are integrated into the design. All materials and textures are included in the .blend file
