Generic bike flashlight mount
thingiverse
For rugged flashlights with 20mm diameter tubes, such as the Olight S20 baton. To assemble this mount, you will need: -1 x TPU mount part -2 x PLA support parts -2 x 20mm M3 bolts -2 x M3 nylock nuts The mounting point is designed to attach to a handlebar with a 25mm / 1" tube using 20mm long M3 bolts and nylock nuts. Nylock nuts are highly recommended, as they resist rolling open under continuous vibration. This mount is specifically designed for printing in TPU or other flexible materials, but it could potentially work with simple PLA. However, it's unlikely that the PLA parts will be able to withstand significant forces, so it's best to print them using a more durable material like ABS or PETG. The majority of the stress on this mount is focused on the TPU part. To achieve optimal results, print the mount with supports and an infill percentage of 85-100% for maximum rigidity. When printing, orient the mount so that it lies flat, with the flashlight mount facing upwards (if a flashlight were inserted, it would point upwards). This design has been thoroughly tested and proven to securely hold a flashlight in place. Updates: -On October 26, 2017, a colleague observed that the support structure between the mounting points was transparent. A missing join operation in Fusion 360 was identified and corrected in version 3.2. The v3.1 fastener remains compatible with v3.2, functioning as before.
