Generic Action Camera TPU Mount

A custom TPU action camera mount, designed specifically for the Fitfort 4k Action Camera purchased from Amazon. Note that many off-brand G-pro style action cameras are very similar, so this may work for other models, but results are not guaranteed. The Sketchup file contains dimensions that can be checked and modified to accommodate your specific action camera. This mount is designed to be mounted flat or at an angle, with included angle brackets at 30, 40, and 50 degrees. Although I have not tested the new one-piece angle brackets, they will be printed soon. The circular brackets in the Sketchup file work okay but were difficult to insert into the holes. To make the connection points easier to fit, a little slack has been included in the mount's design. I designed this mount for use on my 5" quad and custom 15" prop hexacopter with a custom gimbal. The result is a tight fit that requires some effort to insert but will not come loose once it is securely in place. A .1 horizontal expansion offset was applied during the printing process using Cura, which may help account for some of the tightness. If you find the fit too tight, you can experiment with adjusting the horizontal expansion setting. The entire Sketchup file is included with intermediate build-process models, making it easy to create custom angle brackets or modify the design to suit your needs. Further updates will be provided once the new angle brackets are printed and additional photos and information become available.
