THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS
It has been my goal for a while now to make a low cost generator to use for small scale power generation and education. This outputs ~16W as it is now. This can be used with a wind turbine, water wheel, or with some other prime mover. The intent was to create a small scale hydro-electric setup for LED lighting. The stator is composed of 12 coils in a lap winding configuration. Each coil is 45 windings of 24AWG wire. This uses the same rotor from my previous project.
I will make a more detailed description when I have more time.
If you feel compelled to contribute financially it will be used for magnet wire, bearings, neodymium magnets, and other related materials to further refine my designs. Thank you!
