This generator was originally designed for education, the teaching of generator theory and the principles of engineering. This educational teaching generator and it's variations of design became a generator used by teams for the Rhode Island Kidwind competition. The 3D printed version is most recent variation of a wood design created 10 years ago. It is constantly evolving.
