Daniel Piker created a script, available at http://www.grasshopper3d.com/group/plankton/forum/topics/cytoskeleton. He added MeshMahine (a Grasshopper component similar to Kangaroo) for seamless parameter adjustment of the 'spiderweb'. Using approximate parameters, he avoided file size increase by not converting meshes into surfaces. However, users are expected to perform this step themselves. A word of caution: this component is only suitable for flawless meshes; Piker had to fix the original dinosaur model!
