Generation Zero Tank - FNIX
thingiverse
I don't own the model, that's part and parcel with whoever owns Generation Zero and it's properties. 🤷♂️ I just did a bit of work to make it physical.Reddit post: https://www.reddit.com/r/GenerationZeroGame/comments/18uvc2x/3d_printed_fnix_tank/This is a FNIX-class tank from Generation Zero. It's carved up into 32 parts for printing, and the parts are oriented as I printed them, and they all printed fine except for the hose-only parts. Those were a no-win situation, I couldn't get those to print. The 32 parts includes 10 for each leg, including both legs worth of parts in the same file (correctly mirrored/oriented), the head, and all weapons. The machine gun is 5 parts (the body of the gun, two ammo chambers, and two ammo belts), and the mortar is in 2 parts.Assembly requires some care, but isn't too bad. I suggest using the Reddit post above as reference images for where parts go. Keep leg parts in left and right piles! The printed test unit is about 15cm tall, (scale all parts in your slicer to 50% of the imported size) but you're limited by the largest part which is the "femur", the largest part, and you should be able to scale this to almost a metre tall if you put some thought in.Whether or not it will ASSEMBLE at any scale other than 15cm I make no guarantees.
