Generate QuadCopter Challenge
grabcad
The initial design was crafted in Autodesk Fusion 360, followed by a basic static FEA analysis. The aim was to create a robust structure with minimal material usage while ensuring sufficient surface area for Velcro adhesive attachment on components. Post-design, the file was exported to Generate for material reduction. Load cases were applied to motor bases and frame top, expecting 0.48g thrust with a safety factor of 2. Slots are provided for additional payload Velcro strap. Repetier Host suggested STL repair using https://tools3d.azurewebsites.net/ multiple times. The repaired file is attached. Repetier Host volume calculation: ~5.8127cm³, assumed density: 1.04g/cm³, mass: 6.045g. All feedback is appreciated.
