This meticulously crafted bomber model is nearly identical to its original size, with only minor deviations from authentic dimensions. An overhaul and enhancement of our initial 2006 series was prompted by a request from an Australian aviation museum exhibiting an F-111G. The museum was delighted with the model, as were others supplied by Dreamscape. This upgraded version boasts improved details, greater accuracy, and superior flight controls (90% rebuilt). It features full texture, multiple animations like stabilators, flaps, rudder, landing gear retraction, landing gear doors, canopy opening, and a more detailed cockpit than its predecessor. The model is available in numerous formats. The FB-111A/F-111G was an adapted version of the F-111 for tactical bombing and attack purposes, particularly close air support. Armed with a wide array of weapons including cruise missiles, JDAMs, missiles, various unguided bombs, and external fuel tanks, it saw action in Vietnam, the Libyan conflict in the early '80s, and the 1st Persian Gulf War under the Tactical Air Command. The USAF retired these aircraft in 1995; however, they continued to serve with the Royal Australian Air Force until 2005.
