This meticulously crafted model boasts a near-scale design, closely adhering to actual dimensions. A complete overhaul from our initial series in 2006, this update was driven by an Australian aviation museum's request for an F-111G display. The model, admired by the museum and others supplied by Dreamscape, features enhanced detail, accuracy, and flight controls (90% rebuilt). This model is fully textured, with animatable parts like stabilators, flaps, rudder, landing gear retraction, doors, and openable canopy. The cockpit boasts increased detail compared to the original. Available in numerous formats, the General Dynamics F-111 Aardvark was initially designed and built by Convair/General Dynamics as a supersonic interceptor against Soviet bomber threats during the Cold War. Serving as a medium-range interdictor, tactical strike aircraft, strategic bomber, reconnaissance, electronic warfare platform, and air defense strike in various versions, F-111 first served in 1967 with the United States Air Force and later with the Royal Australian Air Force from 1973.
