The model is nearly identical to the actual aircraft, only differing by a few inches in dimensions. It's an updated version of our original series from 2006, created upon request from an Australian aviation museum showcasing an F-111G. The museum was delighted with this model and others provided by Dreamscape. This 90% rebuilt model has enhanced details, accuracy, and flight controls compared to its predecessor. It features a fully textured body with animatable parts such as stabilators, flaps, rudder, landing gear retraction, and doors. The canopy is openable and the cockpit offers increased detail. This F-111 Aardvark model comes in various formats. Originally designed by Convair/General Dynamics, the interceptor aimed to tackle Soviet bomber threats during the Cold War. It's a supersonic medium-range interdictor and tactical strike aircraft that also served as a strategic bomber, reconnaissance, electronic warfare tool, and air defense strike platform in various versions. The USAF first used it in 1967, while RAAF began operating F-111Cs in 1973.
