This highly accurate model closely resembles its real counterpart, being a few inches off its actual dimensions. It is an updated version of our 2006 original series, built upon request from an Australian aviation museum displaying an F-111G. The model boasts numerous improvements, including increased detail, accuracy, and flight controls. At 90% rebuilt, it offers enhanced features such as animatable stabilators, flaps, rudder, landing gear retraction, landing gear doors, openable canopy, and a more detailed cockpit than its predecessor. Available in various formats, this F-111 Aardvark model pays homage to the aircraft's rich history. Originally designed and built by Convair/General Dynamics as an interceptor against Soviet bomber threats during the Cold War, the F-111 served multiple roles, including supersonic medium-range interdictor, tactical strike aircraft, strategic bomber, reconnaissance, and electronic warfare. It entered service with the United States Air Force in 1967 and later with the Royal Australian Air Force in 1973.
