This meticulously crafted model closely resembles its actual counterpart, deviating by merely a few inches from authentic dimensions. A complete overhaul of our initial series from 2006, this updated version was commissioned by an Australian aviation museum displaying an F-111G. The museum staff were delighted with the model and others supplied by Dreamscape. This revamped design boasts enhanced detail, superior accuracy, and advanced flight controls (90% rebuilt). Numerous animatable features include stabilators, flaps, rudder, landing gear retraction, landing gear doors, canopy opening, and a significantly more detailed cockpit compared to the original version. Available in various formats, the General Dynamics F-111 Aardvark was initially developed by Convair/General Dynamics as an interceptor against Soviet bomber threats during the cold war. This supersonic, medium-range interdictor and tactical strike aircraft also served as a strategic bomber, reconnaissance, electronic warfare tool, and air defense strike platform in its various iterations. The F-111 was first deployed in 1967 by the United States Air Force, with the Royal Australian Air Force following suit in 1973 by operating F-111Cs.
