This meticulously crafted model closely resembles its actual counterpart, only deviating by a few inches from its general dimensions. It's an upgraded version of our 2006 original series, following a request from an Australian aviation museum displaying an F-111G. The model boasts enhanced detail, improved accuracy, and advanced flight controls, with 90% rebuilt features. The model is fully textured, with animatable components like stabilators, flaps, rudder, landing gear retraction, landing gear doors, canopy that opens, and a highly detailed cockpit surpassing the original. Available in various formats, the General Dynamics F-111 Aardvark was initially designed by Convair/General Dynamics as an interceptor against Soviet bomber threats during the Cold War. A supersonic medium-range interdictor and tactical strike aircraft, it served multiple roles such as strategic bomber, reconnaissance, electronic warfare, and air defense strike platform in various versions. First used by the United States Air Force in 1967, the Royal Australian Air Force also adopted it, operating F-111Cs from 1973.
