This meticulously crafted model closely mirrors actual dimensions, only differing by a few inches. It is a complete renovation of our 2006 original series, inspired by an Australian aviation museum's request for an F-111G display model. The museum was delighted with this and other models supplied by Dreamscape. This updated version boasts enhanced detail, accuracy, and flight controls, making it 90% rebuilt from its predecessor. It features animatable stabilators, flaps, rudder, landing gear retraction, landing gear doors, openable canopy, and a more detailed cockpit than the original. Available in multiple formats, the General Dynamics F-111 Aardvark was initially developed by Convair/General Dynamics as an interceptor against Cold War Soviet bomber threats. The Aardvark served various roles, including supersonic medium-range interdictor and tactical strike aircraft, strategic bomber, reconnaissance, electronic warfare, and air defense strike platform across its different versions. First used by the US Air Force in 1967, the Royal Australian Air Force also ordered the F-111C, operational from 1973.
