Gen7 Pololu Fan Duct
thingiverse
Various fan ducts exist on Thingiverse; however, I couldn't find one designed for a Gen7/Sanguinololu-style row of Pololu drivers. Thus, I created my own, which fits a 60mm fan. I am currently working on an 80mm version for increased airflow as the Pololu drivers may struggle with 2A steppers without proper cooling. The duct's aerodynamics could be better; thus, I plan to design a more curved version in the future. To mount it, I attached a piece of scrap threaded rod to my printer frame using a Prusa rod clamp and bolted a strip of sheet aluminum to the fan duct. This allows the duct to swing up and out of the way when access is needed, while the aluminum strip's bendable design offers customizable angles.
