Gen1 Toyota Tacoma fuel door lock
thingiverse
I borrowed the concept from Coletrain and built upon it by incorporating several features that allow it to function just like the original OEM part. With the added angle and features designed to reuse the OEM spring, you can simply push the door closed without needing a key. I 3D printed this using a Mojo FDM printer with ABS material, and the part remained functional for over six years before I sold the truck - it was still working great when I let it go. To assemble this part, you don't need any glue; just slip it into place like the OEM part you removed, then add some white lithium grease to ensure smooth movement. I designed it using CREO4, and I've included the source files as well as an STL and STEP for your reference.
