Media Master has done an outstanding job with the Hero Me cooling ducts with each new iteration. However, the latest generation has encountered several issues and its development seems to be losing momentum. To be fair, a single 5015 duct may provide sufficient cooling performance. Nevertheless, I opted for the Dual 5015 Ducts because it allows me to run them at 50-70% capacity, resulting in a significantly quieter printer. Moreover, this configuration provides extra cooling power for intricate prints with large overhangs. This setup combines Generations 3 and 4 of the Dual 5015 Ducts. Media Master frequently uses TinkerCad, which I find restrictive due to its limited capabilities. Consequently, my design features some jagged edges that could be refined using MeshMixer if I were to perfect it.
