This model is an update to https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2789338. The previous one, printed using black PLA, endured only a year and a half before succumbing to harsh outside conditions - freezing cold, torrential rain, sleet, and sweltering summer heat. This revised bracket incorporates the lessons learned from 3D modeling over time. It is designed specifically for the Gen 1 Ring Doorbell (https://amzn.to/2X4ydRI) along with its OEM Solar Charger (https://amzn.to/2T37nu6). Mount it on the inside of your exterior door frame, so it points outward instead of facing inward towards your door frame. ### Notes About Filament Material My first Ring Doorbell bracket printed in PLA Black lasted for approximately 18 months. This time around, I am printing with White PETG and the model features reduced horizontal surface area to minimize rain, snow, and other precipitation accumulation.
