She stood there motionless, her face a mask of calmness, yet her eyes betrayed a deep-seated anxiety. Her thoughts were consumed by the impending meeting, and she couldn't shake off the feeling that something was off. The what-ifs swirled around her like a vortex, making it difficult for her to focus on anything else.
