Gem Ring

A novel ring design featuring a triangular "gem" has been created using parametric modeling. It is intended for dual-material printing. After learning about MakerBot's dual extrusion capabilities, the designer was inspired to create this unique design, even though they can't print it themselves yet. To ensure safety, an optional gap has been added so that the ring doesn't need to be cut if it gets stuck. The gem's number of sides is customizable and rotatable. To use the design, users are encouraged to adjust parameters as desired before generating their own STL file. Additional STL files can be provided upon request.
