Part specifically for: Fire Cow M249 SAW The Trigger grip used for transforming the M249 SAW into a M249 Chain-Saw. Used with the M249 SAW Chainsaw gearbox guard and the M249 SAW Chainsaw handle USING THIS TRIGGER WILL DISABLE THE MECHANICAL SAFETY. IF A BATTERY IS CONNECTED, AND THE TRIGGER IS PULLED, IT WILL FIRE. DO NOT POINT OR SHOOT ANYONE WHO 1. IS NOT WEARING SAFETY GLASSES 2. IS NOT WILLING TO BE SHOT AT BE RESPONSIBLE. Modification to the wiring is required. f you are not confident in soldering, take time to learn or ask someone who is. This is the first prototype, works well enough i feel like I've pretty much nailed it first try for a wild, shot-in-the-dark idea. As such, I likely wont be revisiting it unless someone makes a suggestion on how to perfect it further. That being said, it is certainly far from a "finished product" I am simply content leaving it as "good enough" for the time being. Parts needed: 1. appropriate wire for intended battery specs 2. 250v 3amp micro switch (the same as the existing switch) 3. A spring to fit (winged the size and it worked out lol) 4. 2x 3mm Allen keys (used as pins, you can use anything else that's 3-4mm thicc i suppose) Installation as follows: 1. take down the blaster to get to the gearbox 2. Remove the trigger and springs, and the mechanical safety, Don't remove the micro switch unless you know how to rewire up the electronics. just leave it in for ease of install. Put all that to the side 3. Take note of what the wiring on the existing trigger switch, and wire up the new switch in parallel with the motor wires. When pressed, the new switch should fire the blaster the exact same as before the gearbox was opened. 4. Take the Right half, and insert the new switch. Route the wires through the (awful) cut-outs 5. insert the new trigger into the provided hole and ensure it can pivot / move freely in BOTH halves. If not, then carefully shave down the axles or widen the holes. 6. test the trigger. ensure that when the trigger is pulled, the switch is depressed. once you have confirmed this, secure the switch (via glue probably) 7. Take both sides (with trigger, trigger spring) Smash them puppies together. Check everything fits okay(ish) then secure the pieces together (With tape or glue) 8. place the trigger grip to the side. 9. take the butt-stock, remove the two smaller pins (one side has texturing, make sure that side comes out first, or you'll just widen the hole and the pins will eventually fall out) 10. take the trigger grip and attach it to the stock mount plate using the 3mm Allen keys. 11. take the new switch wires and solder to the motor wires on the existing switch. 12. test to see if new switch works as intended. 13. figure out how to shove the wires in 14. re assemble op. 15. print out the gearbox guard and handle, install and attachment is pretty self explanatory. Apologies for my lack of help and lax explanation.
