Gel Electrophoresis Chamber
thingiverse
Human beings are utilizing 3D printing to create affordable and accessible tools that can be used for biology education. In this project, I am leveraging the NUIGalway 3D maker space to design a gel electrophoresis apparatus that will aid in Molecular Biology laboratory sessions. The model produced will be compared with existing models utilized in biochemistry teaching labs to evaluate its effectiveness in processing and separating DNA samples. Files were sourced from: http://2014.igem.org/Team:TU_Darmstadt/Results/Open_Hardware/Gel_Electrophoresis_Chamber and then customized according to specific requirements. Print settings were as follows: Printer Brand: Ultimaker Printer Model: Ultimaker 2 Raft Generation: Optional, Does Not Matter Supports Generation: Optional, Does Not Matter
With this file you will be able to print Gel Electrophoresis Chamber with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Gel Electrophoresis Chamber.
