Box for gel electrophoresis needs no support. Box for high voltage boost module requires support. Intended to hold 8x10cm blue plexiglass inside, with silica used to make the glass and box waterproof. Steel or platinum electrodes (2mm steel are used) should be included. Banana plugs and sockets will be necessary. The gel is supposed to be made in the chamber itself. For a rubber gel barrier sealer, 5x12mm EPDM rubber sealing car door window strip (as described by an Aliexpress seller) is used. A step-up high voltage module and voltage meter also come from Aliexpress: GWUNW BY436V DC 0-500v digital voltmeter. NCH6100HV high voltage boost module DC12v-24v. I used the following in experiments on pictures: Red, green, and blue food coloring. Soda buffer (0.084g of soda (NaHCO3), 100ml of filtered water). 50ml of agar-agar gel: (0.5g in 60ml of the buffer). 100V from a power booster. Be careful not to touch that when it is on, or you might get hurt and possibly kick yourself (I didn't touch it).
