Geiger Counter Parts - Remix

This project is based on the original Instructable by Prabhat here: https://www.instructables.com/id/DIY-Geiger-Counter-With-an-ESP8266-and-a-Touchscreen/\r\n\r\nThe case I'm building is a modified version of his design, with several component changes.\r\n\r\nI chose this large panel rocker switch for the power switch:\r\nhttps://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00VU381FW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1\r\n\r\nA Lithium-Ion USB battery charger was also added to manage the battery, found here:\r\nhttps://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071RG4YWM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1\r\n\r\nI opted for a flat 2500mAh battery instead of his original choice, which will run the unit for about 12 hours on a charge:\r\nhttps://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BTR3BZ4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1\r\n\r\nThe circuit boards were uploaded and ordered from: https://jlcpcb.com/, as recommended by Prabhat. The process went smoothly, and the boards arrived within a few days, perfectly arranged.\r\n\r\nAlthough I didn't have the exact 3v to 5v boost converter used in his design, I was able to create one using a component from Amazon at a reasonable price.\r\n\r\nOverall, Prabhat's design was solid, but I decided to modify the case to incorporate the battery charger and slim battery.
