This painted beaker-necked vessel originated from the Heuneburg, an ancient hill settlement located at the upper reaches of the Danube River (Sigmaringen district, Baden-Württemberg). It is assigned to a late phase of the Hallstatt culture (6th century BC). The item now belongs to the collection of the Department of Younger Prehistory and Early History at the University of Tübingen.
