I recently took a different approach after someone suggested cutting my threaded rod below the stock acrylic parts hole, but I decided to create a bracket instead that won't hold the rod. This strategy is particularly helpful for users experiencing wobble issues where the existing threaded rod has bent, like in this video https://youtu.be/kOVKfpDfA9U, and requires replacement. The bracket helped address my problem temporarily by stabilizing lower print layers around 3cm, but the wobble issue persisted with higher layers. Despite its temporary fix, it's essential to follow the correct procedure: Two files are included - use the 1mm wobble file if you have a severe wobble issue, as it fits my first print. However, be aware that the smooth rod bracket for the 1mm wobble thing isn't aligned with the original design. Print this version first for a temporary fix to your wobble problem, then switch to the other file. I printed these brackets at about 20% infill, with 4 bottom/top layers and 3 wall layers.
