Geeetech Prusa i3 Pro B Z-Axis Wobble Fix
thingiverse
I'm aware that numerous mods exist to rectify the Geeetech Prusa i3 Pro B's wobbly Z-Axis, but I prefer to design and manufacture my own solutions so I decided to share my creation with others. To address this issue, I designed a replacement top plate for the i3-08 that features an oversized hole for the M8 threaded rod to allow for its movement. If the rod is bent or not free to move at the top, all of the movement will occur in the middle section, resulting in wobble on printed pieces. In addition, I created a piece to isolate the M8 brass nut from the X-Axis carriage, ensuring that the M8 rod is not directly connected to the carriage and any deviation is not transferred to the print. It's worth noting that the picture of the replacement i3-08 is outdated, as it has since undergone modifications.
