I chose to reengineer the two mounts due to potential issues with the display scroll button obstructing the chain. On one side, the mount attaches to the extruder stepper motor, and on the other, it secures to the x-axis stepper motor. You will need to swap out the original screws on the extruder stepper motor for longer ones. With the standard extruder stepper cable, the z-axis is restricted to approximately 170mm. You'll require sixteen chain segments to complete the project.
