Geeetech Prusa i3 Pro B - E3Dv6 migration kit

Hi friends! I recently swapped out my original Geeetech hotend for an E3Dv6 direct drive. This required me to print a new mount in order to use it. My mount had to meet several requirements: it needed to be compatible with the original X carriage of Geeetech, have a cable manager to prevent a tangled mess around the hotend, allow fan installation, and accommodate 3D Touch installation. By the way, I also needed a Z endstop lifter because the E3D is longer than my original hotend. So, I headed over to Thingiverse and, with the help of my friend nos68, selected some suitable objects: "Prusa i3 mount for MK8 extruder and an E3D hotend" by StevenQ-NE-UK (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1812853), "E3DV6/Volcano and Titan extruder/layer fan" by mrah (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2333438), and "Prusa I3 extruder carriage for MK 8 extruder" by ritaxiang (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1072981). However, these objects weren't exactly what I needed. I was torn between using the original X carriage or replacing it with a new one. In the end, I decided to use a combination of the three objects I mentioned earlier. The fan installation was a bit tricky. I used the fan from mrah's object, but I had to modify it because on my machine, if I left the fan in the same position as the motor, it would hit the side when performing a "home" command. So, I inverted the fan and placed it outside of the mount. I kept the hole for fixing it in place, just in case. The 3D Touch installation was also relatively straightforward. I created a mount for it that works similarly to the fan installation. If your 3D Touch is too high with the standard mount, you can use a 2mm piece to lower it. To sum up: * If you want to use other objects from Thingiverse than mine: print "Prusa i3 mount for MK8 extruder and an E3D hotend" by StevenQ-NE-UK (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1812853) + "Prusa I3 extruder carriage for MK 8 extruder" by ritaxiang (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1072981) * If you want to keep the original X carriage of Geeetech: print "tg-plaque-geeetech.stl" * If you want to replace the Geeetech carriage: print "tg-plaque-ritaxiang.stl" + "Prusa I3 extruder carriage for MK 8 extruder" by ritaxiang (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1072981) * No fan and no 3D Touch: print "tg-bloqueur-std.stl" * Fan but no 3D Touch: print "tg-ventilateur.stl" + "tg-bloqueur-1 pc.stl" * 3D Touch but no fan: print "tg-3dtouch.stl" + "tg-bloqueur-1 pc.stl" * Fan and 3D Touch (the premium support): print "tg-ventilateur.stl" + "tg-3dtouch.stl" + "tg-bloqueur-2 pc.stl" For printing, I used an infill of 40% and supports. Enjoy! [Update Feb 2, 2018] It seems that the module for 3D Touch is weak. "le_joebar", a member of the French forum lesimprimantes3d.fr, redesigned it. I added the STL file (3dtouch_le_joebar.stl) and a picture. Great thanks to him.
