Because of the position of solder joints on top of the heated bed, small binder clips are not long enough to clip the glass securely. This is a straightforward low-profile substitute for the back of your heated bed. With small binder clips on the front, there's approximately 12mm between the rear edge of the bed glass and the bed PCB, so the clips have a 12mm deep throat.
