WORK IN PROGRESS UPDATED 3/2/16 - All STL files for the final version have been added. Ensure you measure and print out the correct X-blocks. Geeetech ones should be identical, but this set is designed to upgrade various Prusa's. To-Do List: 1. BOM - Create a comprehensive list of all screws, nuts, bolts, and bearings required. 2. Add Layer Fan - The fan design is currently simple, but working on it for added functionality. 3. Add Fixing Block with proximity sensor for autolevel / replace Z limit switch. Prusa Setup Limitations: The current Prusa setup has significant weight hanging from two horizontal smooth rods, which is also offset to one side. Design Features: This design mounts dual Bowden extruders using a Bowden carrier. It aligns nicely with Geeetech's original carriage as well as carriages with 23mm hole spacing. Customization Options: If you require a different hole spacing or Z offset, please let me know, and I'll adjust it for you. Modifications Ahead: Currently, the extruders are set too low. To fix this issue, the mounting design will be revised for Geeetech to achieve proper leveling. Long-Term Plans: This setup will eventually be part of an entire system including a new X-Motor, X-Idler, and X Carriage. The existing setup inspired these additions and has been incorporated into my designs. Hold On: No STL files have been uploaded yet due to ongoing revisions related to Z elevation accuracy. Contributors: Credit for the Feed Block System goes to 3Dator from Thingiverse (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1318849). I mirrored the setup with minor adjustments, adapting it specifically for Prusa and Geeetech carriages. Designs Adopted: The original feed block design has been slightly modified to accommodate left and right mounts. The fan model used was designed by mplama (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:283343). Given its efficiency, I adapted my design around it, keeping the nozzle space at 26MM. All components related to the X Axis - including the X Motor, Carriage, Idler, and Tension setup - are from MazaaFIN's work (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1103976). The current system features home lower distances than the original Geeetech version due to its flipped orientation. Credits acknowledged as part of a larger collaborative effort.
